{"id":41,"date":"2008-04-27T19:52:35","date_gmt":"2008-04-28T00:52:35","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.redrecondite.com\/blog\/?p=41"},"modified":"2013-04-30T17:00:48","modified_gmt":"2013-04-30T22:00:48","slug":"wii-wheel-rock-you","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.redrecondite.com\/blog\/2008\/04\/27\/wii-wheel-rock-you\/","title":{"rendered":"Wii Wheel Rock You"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>And here I thought <a href=\"\/\/www.google.com\/search?q=%22Wii+Wheel+Rock+You%22\">I was clever<\/a>.\u00a0 Alas.<\/p>\n<p>The Wii Wheel is surprisingly well crafted.\u00a0 I expected it to be a worthless hunk of plastic, because:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>My Gamecube steering wheel makes Mario Kart Double Dash unplayable.<\/li>\n<li>Excite Truck&#8217;s wii-mote steering is not very accurate.<\/li>\n<li>The Wii Zapper, a similar peripheral, is annoying at best.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>And yet, somehow, the Wii Wheel works well.\u00a0 The only problem I have with it is hopping into a turn while skidding in the wrong direction, but I experienced the same difficulties in Mario Kart DS, where only the D-Pad is to blame.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>And here I thought I was clever.\u00a0 Alas.
