I brought the console, the power cable and the AV cable to the local Best Buy, because I bought their replacement plan. I didn't want to lose the hard drive, and I didn't think they would look kindly on the missing security sticker. In the past, I'd always been able to keep the hard drive.

This time, they wanted it back. They said that they needed to ship a 20 GB hard drive back with the console, because that's what came with it, and none of the new consoles come with 20 GB anymore. I relented, and for some reason, they changed their mind.

What about the "upgraded" hard drive. Do you keep that when you send in for repairs?
